I am a Media Designer with over 12 years of experience in Visual Communications. My goal is to complete my MFA in August 2019 and begin teaching at the collegiate level soon thereafter.

I have worked in my field since 2007 which began with a six-year active duty enlistment with the US Army as a Multimedia Illustrator. During this time I utilized my skill set to help the Department of Defense capture terrorists and prevent the next armed conflict from happening. Since my honorable discharge in 2013, I have worked in freelance, primarily in graphic and web design, through which I have helped organizations in various industries achieve their operational goals.

I have taught my skill set to working professionals, members of a host nation military, and students of all ages. I take pride in my work, enjoy working with people, and am eager to serve.

        Military

        I served on active duty in the US Army from Nov. 2006 to Jan. 2013 as a Multimedia Illustrator. During this time I helped the Department of Defense capture terrorists, build diplomatic relations with one of our allies, educate the public on health and safety concerns, and ultimately prevent possible international conflict in the area of operation. 

        All of this was achieved using visual communication solutions.
